These small plates are hand built. They are heavier then my slipcast work because you need a lot more clay to make hand built pieces. These two are sold together because it would be a shame to separate them.
I glazed them in a grey green colour. This colour is perfect for every season. Put small appetizers or bites on them. Since the edge is up you don't risk your appetizers to fall off. Personally I would use the big one to serve a nice burrata, thank to the edge the creamy milk won't be spilled, use the small plate to serve some fresh basil on the side.
I call them ginger plates because the texture of the plates reminds me of the shape of a fresh ginger as you can see on the pictures.
