We’ll handbuild a vase with a white firing rough clay. This vase will be made through a coiling method. Don’t worry if that sounds like a different language to you, I’ll guide you through every step! When your handbuilding is finished, right before glazing, you can add details through carving. We’ll use specific pottery tools to make the outside of the vase more rough or more refined.
Afterwards we’ll glaze the vase on the outside. The inside is left unglazed.
For this workshop I foresee a timing of 2 hours.
You don’t need to bring anything, I’ll take care of everything, from apron to drinks. And clay of course, loads of clay.
